Teatro Vivo and GLYPT are looking for Community Chorus members for their forthcoming production of Mother Courage and Her Children at The Royal Arsenal, Woolwich SE18 We are looking for local people to get involved from 20th August – 21st September 2014 Joining our Community Chorus will mean participating in 5 free workshop rehearsals with our professional company, and then taking part in the performances of Mother Courage and Her Children. We are looking for keen, enthusiastic people from all walks of life that enjoy being part of a team and are looking to do something a little different. Anyone who is interested in performing and keen to develop their singing and acting skills or can play an instrument should get involved in our Community Chorus! But if you feel you don't have any of those skills then come along and we'll help you develop some. We are passionate about sharing our expertise and getting people involved in our exciting productions. We are also looking for Volunteer Stewards who would be interested in working backstage and are looking to gain some experience working on a professional production. They would become part of our company and help prepare and manage each show. Chorus and Steward roles are open to anyone over the age of 16, or under if accompanied by an adult. Specific dates are as follows: 20th August 7pm - 9pm – Workshop / Rehearsals – Woolwich Tramshed 23rd August 10am - 1pm – Workshop / Rehearsals – Woolwich Tramshed 27th August 7pm – 9pm - Workshop / Rehearsals – Woolwich Tramshed 30th August 10am - 4pm – Workshop / Rehearsals – Woolwich Arsenal 4th August 4pm – 9pm – Technical Rehearsal – Woolwich Arsenal 5th September – 21st September – 2 Performances per day every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Participants don’t need to be available for all dates, but do need to commit to at least 3 rehearsals and the Technical Rehearsal and then be available for a minimum of 4 performances.
