A planning application has been lodged with Greenwich Council to replace a red phone box in Greenwich Church Street, by the betting shop, with a replacement "Cash Zone" which serves as both a payphone and ATM. The application from BT Payphones says of the new combined ATM and payphone: They are are proposing replacing the K6 style box with this Cash Zone kiosk (pictured below in Oxford). Yes it does look hideous, but then Greenwich town centre itself isn't exactly picture postcard once you're past the Cutty Sark.
