The Round The World Clipper Race returned back to London on Saturday, ten months after the twelve yachts set out on their voyage.

The dozen vessels which took part in the race, established in the 1990s by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, passed through the Thames Barrier at about 11.45 and sailed past the Old Royal Naval College at about 12.10.

The overall winner of the sixteen-stage race was the Henri Lloyd crew with the GREAT Britain yacht coming second.
