I was looking through recent decisions by the planners at Greenwich Council and noticed they have approved a proposal to use the playground of St Alfege with St Peter's School in Creek Road for a weekly table top sale. The applicant, who is not the school itself but has their blessing to trial it, wants to run the sale every Saturday and has permission to add in Sundays too if it proves successful. Not sure when it will get started but I'll keep an eye out for any publicity and update this thread. Depending on the sellers it attracts, could a weekly outdoor sale in the playground go some way to replace what was lost when the outdoor market closed in Stockwell Street?
