Hi, My name is Michael Leonard and I am the Project Coordinator for CSV's Volunteers Supporting Families Project in Greenwich.
We are working in partnership with Greenwich Local Authority and are hoping to recruit and train volunteers to assist families who have one or more children on a Child Protection, or a Children In Need plan. All families are supported by a Social Worker.
Depending on the needs of the family, the volunteer could assist in a variety of ways from providing a listening ear to helping the family make connections within the community to services and activities.
There is 2.5 days of training and when you take up your volunteer role, we will pay all travel expenses to and from the families home.
If you belive you have the time and desire to help families in the Greenwich Borough, please email me at mleonard@csv.org.uk or call me on 02089212008
