Those with a good memory will remember Greenwich.co.uk reported last year that a branch of Waitrose would be opening at Galliard's new development along Creek Road this year. http://www.greenwich.co.uk/news/08555-waitrose-confirmed-for-greenwich-reach-development/ I thought I would get an update so asked on Twitter for an ETA on their opening and they replied: "We're looking forward to opening in Greenwich this summer at a date to be confirmed" Good news for fans of Waitrose! But, following on from the recent discussion about improving the public realm in Greenwich, what will be the impact of a supermarket with 150-space car park in Creek Road?
I love Waitrose and it will be good to have a reason to go up Creek Road because those horrible 'Greenwich Creekside' flats always put me off!
