This is absolutely unacceptable. Greenwich Council and TFL have ignored the hazards of this road for years and told us it was not a problem. The two bicker over who owns what and who should fund what. Absolutely disgraceful. What we need is a proper zebra crossing between Pura and the school, a speed hump, a lollipop lady, better signage and a lower speed limit through there. Every time someone gets hit they send out someone to measure speed for a few hours and that's it and we get fed a line of nonsense about why nothing ever changes. Now Greenwich Council expects 1900 additional students from Mary Magdalene to start using this crossing in the near future? And people in all the new flats?
